Warwickshire based turkey farming business Adlington Ltd is delighted to have been awarded the title of ‘Best Innovative Product´ in the 2006 British Turkey Awards for their new Adlington three bird roast.
Rod Adlington, proprietor and founder of Adlington Ltd said: “This is our third victory in the British Turkey Awards in as many years. We are thrilled to be recognised as a unique and innovative turkey producer. We fought off competition from some of the industry’s leading producers to win the accolade, with Kelly Turkeys coming second and Tesco coming third.”
The Gala event was held at Claridges in London in aid of the children’s charity ‘Sparks’, and was hosted by funny man Brian Conley who provided a fun-packed evening.
The famed Adlington product is a mouth watering alternative to traditional Christmas fare. Consisting of a barn reared Adlington turkey, stuffed with a pheasant within a chicken, the joint is boneless and easy to carve. The three bird roast is layered with a delicious apple and apricot stuffing mixed with sausage meat.
The joints are available for Christmas, and there is also the option of replacing the turkey with a goose. Both guarantee an unforgettable feast for any occasion.
