Using only the finest British pork legs, cherry picked for their tenderness and flavour, Adlington hams are cooked using age-old traditional methods to ensure the most succulent, yet firm texture with a magnificent flavour.
Perfect for picnics and long weekends when family and friends are gathered, with pickles, salad, and fresh crusty bread, or freshly poached eggs and crunchy potato chips, Adlington cooked hams never fail to impress.
To reheat your Adlington ham:
- Preheat your oven to 190C.
- Use a large roasting tin with about 2cm of liquid in the bottom and a roasting rack (you can use water, cider, beer, stock or even cola!)
- Place your ham on the rack then tightly secure a ‘tent’ of foil over the tin.
- Bake for 40 mins per kilo. Always let your meat rest for a minimum of 15 minutes before serving to let it relax and ensure ease of carving.
